Notes come back when you need them
When a note mentions a child, a contact or an event, it returns on its own beforehand, on Home and in the morning email.
A list of gift ideas only helps if you think of it at the right moment. The notebook now takes care of that: notes come back on their own, shortly before they are needed.
What this helps with
- When a note mentions a child or a contact with a birthday, or an event, it appears as a card on Home beforehand. The gift ideas for Emil show up in good time, not the evening before.
- How early is up to you, per note: 1, 2, 3 or 6 weeks ahead, or never. The setting applies to the whole family.
- In the morning email the note appears twice, on the first day and again a week before. Not every morning.
- If the timing is wrong, dismiss the card with the × until the next occasion. That is only for you, not for everyone else.
- Archived and deleted notes stay quiet. Private notes come back to you alone.
Why this helps
The hard part of running a family is rarely writing something down, it is remembering it again: the present, the packing list, the question for the parents' evening. When the note shows up by itself at the right time, nobody has to remember that it exists.
