Todos now behave like a real to-do list

Ticked-off todos sink below the open ones, leave the list at the end of the day, and stay findable under "Done".

The quick todos on the tasks page used to be a plain list: ticking one off left it exactly where it was. Now they behave the way a to-do list is supposed to.

What this helps with

  • A ticked-off todo sinks gently below the last open one, so the top of the list is always what is still ahead of you.
  • Unticking it lifts it straight back up.
  • At the end of the day, completed todos leave the list without being lost.
  • "Done" holds every ticked-off todo, grouped by day, and any of them can be reopened from there.
  • Deleting works right in the list: a trash icon on hover at the desk, a swipe to the left on the phone.

Why it matters

A list is only as calm as whatever sits at the top of it. When finished items stay wedged between the open ones, you re-sort the whole thing every time you look. And since a day does end, the list now tidies itself overnight.

All of it works on web and in the app.
