Bring both homes together in Famili
When children live in more than one home, family organisation should make room for everyone. Connect your homes in Famili while giving each one its own space.
Your child may have two beds, two sets of routines and people in both places who care about their day. Family organisation should have room for both homes, too.
With Other homes, each household can use Famili for its own day-to-day life and connect through the children they care for together. Your blended family has a link between its homes, without anyone having to join the other household's family space.
Room for everyone who belongs
- Each home organises life its own way. Parents and other adults can plan with the people in their own family space. Nobody needs access to the other household's space to be there for the child.
- The connection follows the children. You can see which other homes organise a child. If siblings live in the same two homes, you can connect them together.
- An existing family space fits in. If the invited person already uses Famili, they can match the invitation to their children's profiles. If they are new, they can set up their own home in a few steps.
A first step towards doing more together
Open Settings → Family → Other homes, choose the children and send the other household a personal invitation link. They can see who invited them, then Famili guides them through connecting. It works on the web and in the app.
Your own plans stay your own: connecting homes does not yet share events, tasks, notes, documents or calendars. Sharing individual entries and planning stays together will come later. For now, you can connect the homes and children that this future collaboration will be built around.
